Children Book Marísól and the Seplane
Released in September 2022 by Leó Publishing in Iceland, this was my first book publication. I wrote the manuscript and illustrated the drawings, which were further processed by drawing up the lines and adding colour by my son, Ýmir Hafliðason Garcia.
Logo for the Charity UMBRAL
UMBRAL is a charity that uses non-traditional education to emancipate youth in Iceland, including those with a foreign background, to develop social skills. Designed in 2021, the logo I designed drew upon a colourful palette to reflect diversity.
Curation: Nations in Conversation
Acted as an assistant curator to Ineke Gudmundsson of the Chinese-European Art Center for the extensive and multi-layered poetry and visual art exhibition at the Embassy of Iceland in 2011. Also acted as a designer for the special poetry windows at the exhibition, which opened in December 2011.
